Last night I went on a walk through my neighborhood while snow was drizzling down from the sky as captured in the picture above. We got 8-10 inches of snow.

We have had many nights with cloudy skies the last couple of months but once the sky clears the view is absolutely stunning. Here are a couple of aurora pictures taken just outside town (15s, f/3.5, iso 400). I am planning to find some locations further away from town to get away from artificial light so check back soon for more pictures. The last two pictures show how beautiful the trees look like in winter covered in snow.
